DBC Music Online is a music downloading service where music fans can download various content from their favorite indie artist. What type of company is DBC Music Online? DBC Music Online is a division of DBC Music, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Diamondback Broadcasting & Communications, Inc.   What services does DBC Music Online offer? DBC Music Online offers music downloads of licensed and copy written works from independent artist and record labels. This includes Music, ring tones, video and group and appearance information. What are the benefits of working with DBC Music Online? The main benefit of an artist or label working with DBC Music Online is in the monetary payout to the artist. Some download services pay very little for downloads of artist content. With MOL, the artist will receive 100% of the money collected from a download. Meaning if a person downloads one track and pays ninety-nine cents, the artist receives all of the money (Minus any fees associated with the money collecting services). The same goes with downloading albums. MOL handles only the marketing and promoting of the website. THAT'S ALL!!! You handle your money. What Systems are compatible with MOL? At the present moment, MOL is compatible with any .MP3 Devices from companies like Apple�, Archos®, Creative®, iRiver� and others. As you plug the device into your USB port on your computer, it will read your device as a hard drive, where after you download your content, you can drag it from wherever you saved it and drop it into your player. What are the fees associated with MOL? There are no fees associated with MOL. The artist and the labels pay NO money for us to carry their music and fans pay NO monthly fees to use our service. The only fees paid are those from customer to artist and label. How does an artist or label receive pay when a download occurs? MOL uses the Paypal® system to pay artist and labels. Each artist/label must have a bank account in order to use MOL. The fan purchases content to download. Then the money (Using Paypal) is sent to the PayPal Account. When the artist/label is ready to collect their money, they simply transfer it from the Paypal account to their bank account. Nothing further. They receive 100% of the fees (minus the PayPal fees) of the profit. Does an artist or a label have sign a contact & if so, how long? Artist and labels who use MOL have no contracts to sign. They only must agree to our Service Terms and Conditions. They can put their music on there for one day and take it off or can leave it there and create an online library.
